Dear Wondering Litsters,

Well! I had no idea my post would generate such attention.

Since I'm not closely acquainted with any of you, let me assure you that it was tongue-in-cheek.

He is not 'my man,' he is a free agent, as am I. But the rest of my post is accurate. ;)

P.s. I don't approach men who are part of a couple, or who are likely to become one.

Baggage is one thing, a Lit partner is something else entirely.

Dear Politely declining,

Exactamundo :D

Though - dare I rock the boat further, and say that neither will I go 'there' with Litsters who are couples in real life too. I appreciate their own grounds of play, but nope, not for me.

I agree with all of this and would like to subscribe to your newsletter. :) It’s hard to tell tone online — at least for me it is. Just to be clear, I was stating that I’m not a fan of stirring up drama and don’t want to piss anyone off. I hope I didn’t come across that way.

I stumbled into a lit-thing before, unknowingly. I was flirting with him on the board, he was flirting with me... we had not spoken in PM at all tho and his lit-SO PMed me (nicely) to back off, which I did. Some times it is really hard to tell who is lit-taken.

as part of a couple - we are both free to chat to whoever we like - kitten knows i flirt as I have been here for so long and she is fine with it. As i always say - this isn't a dating site. i guess some couples set different levels.

dear Litsters,
Interesting topic, Miss Honey!! I am married to mrppv and in a long term love affair with DarkSimian. I also have a few close lovers that I enjoy. We have our time, but we also have the openness to flirt, tease and play without jealousy getting in the way. In fact, I like watching my men flirt and be flirted with! It's pretty hawt!! Having open and honest communication with whoever you are "with" makes all the difference. Just my two cents worth.

Dear Possessive Litsters -

As another 'old timer' here. I identify more with these comments. Flirting and fluffing are part of the environment. Take that away and what's left? I enjoy watching my ladies flirt, it makes them even more desirable and if they're having fun, why would I want to put a crimp on that?

Dear "healthy discussion" Litsters,

Interesting discussion.

The "talk to the SO about it, not to the flirters" approach seems more efficient. If you don't like them flirting with others, isn't that a better discussion to have with them, rather than the people they are flirting with?

Otherwise you're going to spend your whole time checking, monitoring, warning, and wondering what other communication methods they might be using. And that's all time you could be spending on much more interesting activities.

Like flirting... ;)

Dear Flirting Litsters,

Well said and appreciated. Life is too short and our time on the board and otw is limited and by choice. I hope I can be as good about these things as you are.

Dear Flirty,

Shall I cc or bcc you when I start some hot RP with your hubby? You know, it could turn into a three way hot and heavy romp. Oh and pics, you interested in seeing those too?

Signed.
