The words were in the cockney dialect. Cockney people are from London. To be a TRUE cockney you have to be born within the sound of Bow Bells (bells in a part of London called Bow..... the police force knows as the Bow Street Runners came from there hundreds of years ago).
So.. in short.. it's the letter 'i' talking in a London accent. = London i = London Eye.
