Yes, it is. It's been a long time since a friend has pulled out that chapter book he was reading to me. I miss that, but life intruded. I wonder if I should ask for it.

We had a beautiful week here, up in the 70s. But, storms are coming through bringing the temps down. I know that doesn't sound bad compared to 30° somewhere, but I sure wish spring would get here. I enjoyed being out without a sweater!

There's some more blankies in the closet, next to the coloring books.

strong problem solving skills and a tendency to deploy them when needed
intellectual curiosity,
the tendency to deal with mistakes and failures with grace and compassion (both of others and their own),
a need to nurture,
a sense of humor,
a commitment to prioritizing you and your dynamic,
strength of character,
a tendency to ego-check themselves before they wreck themselves,
respect for subs in general (in practice—not just lip-service),
and a focus on the non sexual aspects of D/s even if you desperately just wanna get rawed, because most people will be up for that, but it takes a special breed to actually get fulfillment from doing the wolf shit.
