Is Creationism a science?

I will get another comment from SeanH that I am stupid but I believe God created the heavens and the earth and that living things that were created can adapt over the years to their surroundings.

Oh and hello everyone. Nice to meet you. I believe the bible should be taken literally. BOO!:)

Like, everything in the bible you accept literally?
I'm curious.

I'm not in the bible belt and I know a few. Neighbors won't send their kids to public school because they dont want them exposed to non biblical teachings. Their grandparents weren't monkeys you know.

Don't even get me started on "Christian-based" home schooling.

Please don't feel sorry for me. You can send me the book if you tell me you have at least read the whole bible. I unlike other people don't mind alternative views. I am not young and naive. I have spent time studying this and this is what I believe. :rose:

Reading the Bible causes brain damage. I should know, I've done it thrice.

I have actually read the whole Bible. I don't take it literally, not even the historical bits. Parts of it are good reading, though.

O ye of little faith, and smaller minds. Of course, you will never learn.
Holding little faith is not a mother of great dreams, and having smaller minds is not conducive to attaining wisdom. But still, in all cause-effect fairness, you must have a dream to dream, regardless of how meagre it be. So I now bestow upon you one that will penetrate to the very essence of your being, and paralyze you with it awesome reality. I am your god! I am Alpha and Omega; the Beginning and the ending of all things.

Yes - let me say this right. I believe the bible is the way God wants it. The things in the bible happened. (Yes Jonah was in the belly of a whale) Hey if you could do anything you wanted why not. lol Do I believe every little thing the same way. NO! Do I think he would be pleased that sometimes I want to be a submissive little slut. No. I do think though that he realizes I am human. He definately knows I am not perfect. He knows the exact number of hairs on my head. He knows my faults. He loves me anyway.

I think people view God as someone that is mean and vengeful. A pastor helped me see this. He equated it to a boat. He said most people see God as someone who is trying to push people out of the boat in a severe storm. In actuality, He is on the boat rushing to pull people in.

Believing this has made me at least try to be a better person. Like I said another time on a poll about the afterlife - what does it hurt.

Ha!

If you pick the right translation, there's some beautiful language in it, for sure.

Everything Jesus says is good. There's really nothing there that can be twisted or perverted much. Most stuff from the OT is so mixed up it's hard to tell what's allegory, what's meant to be true and what's just pure bullshit.
The NT sorta goes off the rails at times once Paul starts ranting and raving and John goes on a acid trip.

The Bible says that Jonah was swallowed by a great fish, so it couldn't have been a whale.

Thank you.

Evangelizing The Word is pure pleasure. Plus, the source material is so irrefutable my job anyone can do.
Its bubble-bursting time. Prophetic words of your holy book can not come true. The reason being that your god never imagined having to deal with a master such as myself. Hear my chant O child wandering the earth. Safe is being in my aegis. For I Am He

Oh he imagined it alright but he had planned a time with no rain for years that should have made all the weed you're smoking die. LOL. However he could not do that to the rest of us. (I have to say you are are hilarious. Is it alright to laugh at you master. Or will I be punished?)LOL

Lots of 'em. Including several about the history of the early Christian church. I doubt most fundamentalist believers would like those very much.
