Okay, I overestimated the date. You asked about plots, though. Halloween is in 55 days, but the contest starts in 25.

I'm not sure. I suppose it could be the Halloween contest, but I know Flicka always gets into Nano and kicks butt. We'll just have to wait for her return to get the answer I suppose.

I wish I had the time to participate this year. I've wanted to do it ever since I've been a member here, but Uni has always taken precedence.

I'm inspired by Terry Pratchett's "Feet of Clay" - in my book, there's been an attempt to murder the queen, and the sheriff has to find the murderer before he or she strikes again. Problem is, they have no idea how the queen's been poisoned, so they don't know how to prevent it from happening again.

For those of you who don't have a plot idea yet...Adopt-a-Plot.

That's on the Nano forums, so if you want to peruse it, I suggest doing it soon and c & ping anything that catches your eye because I think they reset the forums mid-September. I'm sure there will be a new Adopt-a-Plot thread started for 2006, but there's no sense in letting older ideas go to waste.
