Could 1 minute change your life?

Sometimes I feel like I'm only living in moments - each one disconnected from the other. I guess that's why my parents nor anyone else, ever sat me and handed me a road map for living life.

Lioness, intrigued, peachy, your wisdom is appreciated and respected. Lance just hates admitting he's human sometimes.

Lance is human?? ;)

Romeo...this was something it took me 30 years to find out...then one day I realized I had to make one of those minutes count and I turned around and told her how I felt.

Can one minute change your life?...definitely.

Yes I believe 1 min can change ur life. I don't want to babble on, but 4 years ago, a normal day dad just got off work me and my sister screaming at each other my brother at work. Phone rings it's my brothers job, says he was in an accident. Didn't explain, just said Ronnie was in an accident, sister calls back and asks them what was going on, Ronnie was electricuted by 440 volts of electricity. Went to hospital, doctor says he's not likley to make it, and if he does he'll be a veggie. Find out a co-worker was at the right place at the right time and perfromed perfect 1 man cpr on my brother for 15 mintues, the whole time his heart not beating, Well Ronnie came through fine, mild short term memory loss (couldn't remember about a week before it happened) and a mild heart attack. (which is not even visable now, Doctor says this is rare) anyway if that man hadn't been there when he was if he had walked in a mintue later it would have been to late. So yes 1 mintue can change your life.

Well you should give that person another chance because who knows at this minute whether their box is still full.

YES it can, and has

Sure one minute can change your day - or your life. Think of the decisions that make up all those minutes.

Events like this happen to us of our own choosing or are thrust upon us suddenly. We make the choice, perhaps contemplating the "big" ones for a minute before deciding. Yes, it is the minutes that change our lives - ususally much more so than those we agonize over for days before making a choice.

What makes me sucessful in the end is the realization that I have made a choice - better than not to have made one at all. Suppose that in your illustration above you had never made the choice - where would you be?? Still standing in the road I suppose.

I think I'm better off for having made all those "little" choices and living with the consequence than having never made the choice at all. Life is a whole lot more fun when you take the alternate route once in awhile and accept whatever comes next.

cool idea - Armenius
