Just over six months ago, I ruptured my Achilles Tendon and had surgery and lots of physical therapy to get me back on my feet. Tomorrow morning I have a follow-up appointment with the doctor who did the operation.. . .but I don't feel like going.

I'm walking to and from my office and while it's not back to 100%, I know it's healing. Why do I have to go to the doctor's office? I don't want to!!!!

I'd go. If for anything just to get him to sign off on it. If something goes wrong in the near future , you'll have no recourse because you failed to follow up as instructed.

I could take the stitches out of my hand myself but I'm not, I'm going so they can look at it and make sure everything is fine!

You should go. Then swing by my office so I can examine your butt.

I know you're right but. . .it just seems like such a waste of time. I always have to wait in her office for over an hour! Plus, it's been three months since I last saw her. . .if there haven't been any problems, what could possibly happen now?

Plus, it's my day off and I want to sleep in. . .I'm soooo tired!
