Not a fan of humiliation itself....it can to a degree humble a blowhard but otherwise it's not something I am into. I was merely talking about facing your demons so to speak, doing so at one's own pace and in a comfortable environment. Now if humiliation happens to help them through it/get off, then all the more power to that individual.

Yup, I totally get that. Humiliation should be done with care. That post is a pretty extreme example and yet, to a lesser degree, just getting nekkid and being made to look at yourself in the mirror can be humiliating, too.

I think, to some extent, we're saying the same thing. How far down the rabbit hole you go with facing demons depends on the person and the situation.
