{{{{{whspr}}}}} Thank you, Sweetie!

Donette ? Is she saying no to a little girl-on-girl activity, and if so, why?

Congratulations again Lynnette. This is a tough task -- my mom had to do this, and it's made a great deal of difference, tough though it may be.

Sister doesn't want me to have any fun....no powdered sugar donettes....now that's just cruel!

This is quite an accomplishment!! I wish you luck in continuing to stay smoke-free.

Thank you, Daizie! :rose:

Just curious, what has been the toughest part so far?

LMAO! I've got him on a timer!

The toughest part has been NOT gaining a ton of weight. I've chewed A LOT of gum...and drank A LOT of water. And I've not killed the hubby...for that I need a monitory award. :cattail:

{{{{{Maggie}}}}} Thank you!

Well done Lynnete!! Keep going-I just passed 5 years so it can be done!:nana::nana:

I come here to congratulate you and see how they mock me ?

If a million dollars is being given (is this tied in to the bank bailout?) then I need to take up, then quit, smoking.

Lynn is very popular, it appears. :cattail:

What does your husband think of your efforts? Are you getting a lot of praise at home?

That's not for quitting. She get's her health for doing that, among other things. The money is for not killing her husband while quitting..:D

Actually....he is proud....and has been praising me. There have been very few times when he has praised me...so this IS a change.

I hope I don't look back and regret not using this as an opportunity. :cattail:

(((((((Nor))))))

I'm starting to feel the benefits...I feel better, food taste better, my teeth look whiter and I got more money in my pocket than usual. What's not to like about that?

(((((Oman))))):rose:

I freakin LOVE that song! I scared the crap out of the cats by cranking it up and be-boppin in my chair.

To anyone who would like to stop smoking....if *I* can do it...you can. I started smoking in high school...cause it was 'cool' ...30+years later I was still smoking. I took Chantix on and off for about 4 months and kept saying...next time I run out if cigs I'll quit. After a dozen episodes of that rubbish, I finally did it. The night of Nov 30th, I ran out...and once again...I told myself...this is it. I was still taking the Chantix when I could remember to. On the way to work the next day I stopped and got a couple packs of gum and I chewed the hell out of it. I always smoked on the drive in to work. I started chewing the gum instead.

Like I said...if I can do it....anyone can.

For all of you who have supported me and encouraged me....THANK YOU!!!
That helps me more than you can know.
