Is there a way that I can removve a thumbnail from the folder(s) in the "My Pictures" application?
There are four pictures (thumbnails) on each folder, even the 'Sample Pictures' Folder.

I've gotten as far as the "Sharing and Security" Dialog box, but when I try to change the default to another folder icon, the pictures still appear. Ultimately, I only want the yellow folder to appear without any pictures. I know that they help to show the user what's in the folder but that why the folders have different names, (and I want to keep some pics private or at least not viewable).

Also, is there a way to place a password on your folder(s)?

You have Windows XP? on mine if you right click over the folder, then choose 'properties' you can customise it from there. Is that what you're looking for? please send me a sample of the pictures your hiding ;)

Yes, I do have XP.

So far, all I've been able to do is reduce the number of thumbnails on the folder to one, the less risque pic, instead of four. But I can't get the last thumbnail elimnated. I'll keep working on it. Thanks for the customize suggestion. This thread was getting lonely with no replies. :D

Maybe you could put some 'innocent' pictures in there and use those on the folder.
