The reason I visit Literotica is because I’m trying to avoid political ads and political shit in general. Is there a way to stop political posts from going into the “what’s new” updates?

I’m not asking if there’s a way to close it down, but I want to just not see more disgusting political shit when I’m trying to find wholesome discussions about cuckolding, BDSM orgies, and general kinkery.

What are " 'What's new' updates?"

I wish the same. The only thing I've found that helps is that the same people tend to start threads in the political forum, so each time a political thread shows up when I hit "New Posts," I ignore the member. Now I hardly ever get political stuff when I hit "New Posts."

I learned that from another litster, but I can't remember who!

Holly has the right idea. There are only a handful of folks who routinely create threads in the politics forum. Putting them on your ignore list will hide most of that forum from your feed. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to just hide or block a forum.

Wow, the fact that this is so effective is a sad statement on a handful of people.

I have selected the ignore button for everyone posting in political thread.
I rarely get anymore posts from them now.

The lightning symbol in the upper right-hand side.
Oh, wow. I'd never clicked on that. Way too much info for me. I really on setting "Watch" on the three or four (or five?) forums that interest me, even occasionally.

There has been a bit of an uptick in the amount of ignores I have to add lately, but it's still not too many. When you ignore the OP, none of the updates on that thread show up anymore. It's a beautiful thing, lol.

I get the feeling there's only ten or twelve people there with a whole bunch of accounts. It's a good place to ignore.
