Not to congratulate myself for being too awesome but . . . I’m not at all prone to peer pressure, mob mentality, or mass hypnosis—at least, I’m pretty sure I’m not.

I often find myself being the one in the room hearing everyone else’s opinion and thinking/saying “Yeah, but . . .”

I tend to go in the opposite direction of the group, rather than go along to get along Even with people I like and respect.

What does that have to do with hypnosis? I think it’s all about suggestion. I don’t think anyone can be hypnotized. I think people can be so into a moment that they believe in it so much they go along with it, but it isn’t real.

I may be far too skeptical about hypnosis, but I would gladly try it. I’d even be willing to have them try to get me to do something I wouldn’t otherwise do just to prove it’s real.

I’m confident it won’t work. Not on me, anyway.

All of these I can answer in one reply. When I first came to Lit. I used it a lot for the "how to" type stuff. Now I still love to learn and read, but it honestly has simply become a place to interact with other adults. I still have no issue talking and learning. But I have learned that often times. The more questions I ask. The more ridiculous comments I get in PMs.
It does not affect my sex life one way or another though. It might have in the beginning as I was learning new things.
