Cock Talk

Does your horniness ebb and flow (probably should have chosen a better way of wording that)?
My sexual desire definitely goes through phases. There's a cyclical component that is tied to my hormones and then a larger

When you’re in a sexual hole (🤣), how do you get out of it?
Is this a vagina joke? Lol
I use science. Understanding the concept of sexual triggers and brakes helps me think through how to get back to my sexuality. If I'm overwhelmed, no amount of stimulation and input is going to help. I need to relieve my stress, first.

Spring is right around the corner, does that affect you in your funny spots?
It does 🤩 I'm feeling my sexual hibernation coming to an end.

Are you a person who is close to nature, or do you run as fast as you can from your house to your car because nature, yuck?

Totally a nature girl here.
Sex in a tent. Bliss!

Do you get the Winter Blues?

I do. I've learnt to learn into it and get cozy.

Does Daylight Savings mess you up or do you not even notice?

I hate it.
I feel like Michael in The Office every time he gets a vasectomy and then has it reversed. Snip, snap, snip, snap...

Oh.
I thought it was common knowledge that I’m perpetually masturbating and I only stop in here between yanks. 🍆💪
Welp, now I know.

It is impossible to add two likes to a post. 🤣

I kept alternating between a shocked and laughing emoji until finally giving up and settling on the one.

*I feel like there is a connection to these questions, but I won’t know until you answer*
1) Absolutely! I can go into sexual hibernation for months, even years, if something/someone isn't keeping me active.
2) That is...an excellent question. 😂

(Hopefully someone will have some good answers, because I certainly don't. 🤷🏼‍♀️)

3) Nope. I like the autumn months.
4) Let's go with somewhere in the middle.
5) Nope.
6) Yes, but...I'm not sure that it does sexually. It's sexually we're talking about, right? :p

😳 There's a character in The Office that gets multiple vasectomies? 😳

1) Does your horniness ebb and flow (probably should have chosen a better way of wording that)?
Definitely. When I’m stressed or under a lot of pressure, I have no sex drive.

2) When you’re in a sexual hole (🤣), how do you get out of it?
Make it a point to deliberately attack my guy.
3) Spring is right around the corner, does that affect you in your funny spots?
I’m very glad for the end of winter. Spring and Fall are my favorite seasons.

4) Are you a person who is close to nature, or do you run as fast as you can from your house to your car because nature, yuck?

I’m a redhead who sunburns in minutes and I’m severely allergic to pollen…I am not the most outdoorsy.

5) Do you get the Winter Blues?

No, I just don’t like being cold.

6) Does Daylight Savings mess you up or do you not even notice?

I don’t really notice it.

Oh, wow. These are almost identical to my answers except I’m not a redhead and I also don’t like being hot…hence, reason #347 Spring and Fall are the best 😆

Bwahahaha yes it comes and goes.
I guess just let time pass. Bad vibes and stress go away in time.
Nah, weather doesn't effect my libido.
I do like nature. Parks are my jam.
I always have the blues, baby.
Oh yeah, I'm a mess in that area. It takes a day or two to get my shit back together.

Is there a correlation between people who enjoy nature AND are affected by seasons and daylight savings time more than those who are not nature people?

I think . . . maybe.
Definitely maybe. It's hard for me personally to figure out just because I live in Houston, where the weather ranges from "not that hot" to "fucking hot." ;p

I think y'all know I'm a nature gal.
And as a gardener, I live a very seasonal life.

So I'm thrilled it's March. There's an awakening that happens with me this time every year and I love it. I bet I just like a lot of light and the lack of it in winter really can get to me.

I don't consider myself unduly nature-y, and I don't consider myself unduly affected by daylight savings time. A few days to reboot, personally. Usually the disruption to pet schedules is more problematic.

Seasonal disorders do get me, though. No official diagnosis, but my guess is the less common presentation of SAD. My mood starts slipping in the spring, and by summer I can be downright depressed. Fall is when I perk.

Living in Texas, the long months of summer sun are rough. I much prefer Seattle or Scotland. Give me the grey days!! 😎

You'd love the PNW

I loved Texas for a stint but my moody heart craves the overcast of redwood forests

I fell in love with the redwoods! The entire PNW, in fact.

It's so drizzly. 😎

I had my second trip booked when Covid hit, unfortunately, so canceled. Planning a new trip needs to get on the agenda. Sounds odd, but I honestly think I would be happy all the time if I lived in that region.

I just LOVE the PNW. I used to go regularly for work and it made my heart happy. The gorgeous forest on one side, overcast light catching ocean waves on the other side, and drizzling overhead 💗

The market in Seattle!!! The flowers! The islands! The constant mist!

I would move there in a heartbeat if it didn't mean leaving family. I'm still working on ways to lure them, one or two at a time. :D

With all your lawn mowing, crawling under the house with snakes and running, I’m not sure you aren’t considered unduly nature-y. 🧐

I understand not loving the constant heat and sun, but it’s rare to hear someone prefer the nonstop rainy overcast of the Northwest. Being from the Northeast, I just had my Vitamin D level checked and it was, like, 1 (🤣) even though I practically freebase that shit!

🙋‍♀️ I traded Australian beaches for overcast forests and kinda love it.

Unexpected bonus, I look much younger than my sisters because not only do I miss out on all that ozone free radical sunshine Australia has to offer, I think I get negative sun for six months of the year.

I do need to keep a close eye on my vitamin D levels, though, @hotwords229_A
Good point

Hmmm. Well, but that stuff is chores and maintenance. I don't know that I spend a lot of time in the outdoors for pleasure. I'm more of a book or an old movie while cuddled up on the couch kind of girl.

It's totally the seasonal disorder thing, I think. Too much sun is...idk...bad for for my mental health? 😂

Seriously, when fall hits and the weather cools and the rains come, it's just...pure bliss.

*drifts off a little thinking about next fall*

:p

Honestly, though, I was just glad to eventually be able to put a name to my mood shifts. More of the world is all like: It's summer! Let's throw a party!

Meanwhile I'm hiding in the house, glum.

Now, if only they'd come up with the opposite of light therapy for those of us on the opposite end of the usual spectrum. 🤔
