So, this is a bit silly but what the hell…I was noodling around the internet for bits of information about exactly what happens to the body during orgasm - which chemicals and hormones release, exactly which muscles contract etc - you know, like science-y stuff - and I came across something that claims to be ‘the closest visual representation of what the female orgasm feels like’.

I was amused to see most comments were like ‘yup, that’s it’.

And it also struck me that I don’t think I’ve ever seen such an image represented in words in any story.

Hmmm...unfortunately for me, this video leads me back very specifically to sitting on a coach bus as it made its way around the outskirts of Rotterdam in 1988. For those were the decidedly unorgasmic circumstances in which I first watched that film.
