Anyone in for giving this another try?
The premise is to throw out a challenge (category, word length, story contains certain elements, etc) and everyone writes a story based on that challenge. It used to be set up as a weekly challenge, but we could do it as bi-weekly, etc. Everyone who participates would post their story here in this thread and the other participants can give feedback. Other challenges will be posted on a rotating basis by particpants.
I realize there have been several "writing challenge" threads lately, and I think that is great. I, for one, need something to get my creative juices flowing cause I've been stuck in a rut lately. Anyone can participate or join in at any time. It's a good way to be challenged to write in categories you might not normally write in. If you feel that you can't meet one challenge, you can skip it! Please keep in mind that this isn't a "perfected story" kind of thread. Rough drafts are totally acceptable!
To get the ball rolling, I'm going to post the first challenge.
category: erotic horror
Must be a ghost story.
Must contain the words: chartruese, oblong, demented, yarn
No limit on word length, but should be at least 500 words long.
Stories due Monday, June 18th. We'll start with one week and change it if need be.
