No joke my friends in real life have told me I have a face that tells them I’m judging them but trying not to let it show. They call it my “monkey face”. I don’t actually know what it is but my family assures me it exists

I make a facial gesture where I just tighten my lips and nod a bit, sort of like a smile except my lips are straight. I usually use it in a disagreement, and it means "I acknowledge I heard what you said, but another comment I make will extend this argument. I have nothing more to say."

Even after explaining that multiple times, my ex still interpreted it as "fuck you, bitch."

It is in our nature as human beings to judge. That’s what we do. People are motivated by their own self interests. With that comes judgement.

So yes, we can judge people and things and say we’re not judging. People do that all the time.

So go at it folks and judge me for this comment. Because whether you say it out loud or not, you’re doing it anyway!

Sugar, don't keep that skeleton in a closet, to haunt you any time you want to walk down that hall! May I suggest you disarticulate that skeleton, shove it in a cache, wrapped in duct tape, then build a bunker that will withstand nuclear disaster, and shove that thing to the bottom, throw in a hand grenade, put the lid on it, and move on with your life.

Some thing are so surprisingly painful that you have to forgive yourself, let go of any right or wrong they did, and do your best to just say, "well, that happenned" and move on. Don't waste your time on horny hornets, when there's someone out there who thinks your the bees knees!
