I couldn't figure out where to post this so here's a new thread. I love witty, literary, political, plainly humorous cartoons. Besides book, film and theatre reviews it's the main reason I get The New Yorker.

Actually, I used to get playboy. Surprisingly most people believe me when I say I only got it for the cartoons

But then again I have every disney movie on tape and most of the ones warner bros and hana barbara have released as well.

I love the New Yorker cartoons. A friend visiting from New York brought one over, and I couldn't believe how many of them made me LOL. I don't have a scanner, but I really wanted to post one to lit:

It was of a typical "stern granny" type with the eyeglasses on a chain sitting in front of a computer typing. The caption was "ooh baby, ooh baby, ooh baby"...
