Cars > Guns

And you believe that not being a Union member leads to that?
Other way around: unions impede this. Get the union out of the workplace and it becomes competitive again. Unions are just like Communism, equal rewards for the useful and useless alike, which benefits the useless.

Get the unions out, then folks can employ those immigrants on poverty wages and fire American workers.

They are nice cars, much better than guns. Trouble is they are in the garage being fixed.

That is what we call a "rollaids sunset" because it gives a communist an upset stomach!

Ahahahahahahahah from Marco Island. Yes, that is the Private Beach on the far south tip of paradise

Without a highway infrastructure built and maintained by public money, the food you buy at your local supermarket will not exist.

You have this dream of nirvana where there is no private transportation but when called on it you instantly default to nonsense about that only applying inside cities and that rural areas can have cars/trucks/roads.

Except you would deny them public funds for that.

Basically your idea is unworkable because it's nonsense. There must be public infrastructure in the form of roads and highways between where goods are made and where goods are needed. The better those roads and highways are, more better quality and affordable goods will be available.

Or do you think that iPhone you use to call Door Dash got here on the back of a mule following a footpath through the mountains before it swam across the sea to your door?
Worse. The implication here is that urban areas would dictate policy to rural areas where our roads are funded by local taxes once you get away from the state highways and the US Interstate.

We used to have toll roads. It was not workable.

Unions?

Private Sector Unions have dried up on the vine.

The union activity is now Public Sector Unions and that is the devil's own purview where both sides, the government and its workers (and thus the controllers), negotiate with each other Kabuki-style over our tax dollars, taken at the metaphorical point of their guns (which is why Liberals want to repeal The Second, because they are dedicated pro-government lemmings who believe that all good stems from government including the largess of what you and I earn despite government). It's the proverbial two wolves, a sheep, and the evening's dining options...

That's when the wolves become great fans of a pure Democracy.

You think that working for less money will make you millionaire?
Capitalism raised more people to middle class status than any other system, and also made the poor not so poor. People now are not starving living in tar paper and corrugated tin shacks. Most of this has come about through economies of scale and technological advances under capitalism.

Unions are the opposite of liberty.

They force the consumers to subsidize lower-quality workers, and add a huge layer of bureaucracy on top.

Take out the taxes, unions, excessive regulations, parasitic lawsuits, and well-intentioned quota programs, and your average person could afford a much better life.

Even if they do not pay income taxes or sales taxes.

The "middle class*" in most of the properly-run Socialist countries would just die to become as wealthy as our poor...

* Yes. A joke. They have no Middle Class...
