SO what if I cant spell? I made it to college, I think I am alright. My degree is technical anyways, so if I cant spell it doesnt matter. I just have to know how to calculate differential equations. All of you teachers are giving me bad flashbacks of all the spelling tests I failed in Elementry school. I still remeber my reportcards to this day. A C in spelling and A's in everything else. I guess it is finally catching up to me.

I protest! I was NOT picking on his spelling. I was picking on his word choice -- he spelled "strait" correctly -- and couldn't resist the obvious pun about "thinking strait" = "Narrow minded."

As a part time, self-taught, computer programmer, I think that proper spelling is going to figure into your future more than you expect -- as is proper word choice. Computers do really stupid things when you give them the wrong command.

I think it's unfortunate that you, like far too many others, made it to college without learning the importance of spelling in making yourself understood.
