Can't seem to stay logged in

I'm having issues staying logged into the forums. Some times even when posting a message I'm required to login again. Mostly switching between forums causes it. Its quite frustrating.

Any ideas?

Unless you allow cookies and check the "remember me" box when you log in through the Forums, you will be logged out whenever the forum software senses fifteen minutes of inactivity. The timer isn't terrible precise and might log you out in as little as ten minutes.

Also, your system might be resetting the link to the server, which might trigger an auto-logout.

The solution is still the check-the-remember-me-box and allow cookies from Literotica. It won't keep you logged in but it will re-log you in automatically until you explicitly log out. (The only noticeable effect will be the resetting of your last-read pointer to the time you were last auto-logged-out.)

Or create a story side login the same as you forum login and login there. That will keep you logged in forever. Or until some event triggers a reset, like logging into the forum with an alt.

I thought I was seeing a pattern of possible inactivity going on. 10 to 15 minutes seems right. I'll try the storey side login first, if I still have trouble then I'll have use the remember me option.

Cookies are enabled, site is also whitelisted. We'll see how it goes.

The story side and forums use the same user database. A username established on one is automatically present on the other. It has been that way almost since the site started using vBulletin ca. 1999-2000.

Then just login over on the story side and never get logged out again. I've been logged in for six months now.

Solution was to login on storey side.
