What thrill does someone get from presenting themselves not as they truly are?
In light of all the hub bub here... a person posting pics not of themselves and claiming it is them, or a guy pretending to be a woman.
If I wanted to get a thrill from attention drawn to me or about me, I would at least want it to be actually myself... a true image or persona I put out there, not one fabricated because whatever attention you draw is based on a lie.
This has always perplexed me. Anyone know the rationale or what one derives from posing as someone they're not?
