I was on minimum wage once.

So I invested about $300 dollars in technical certifications. Then I got a better job.

I sympathize with someone who is say, a single parent, and on a minimum wage job. Other than that I say: you're getting paid what your work is worth. Want an increase in pay? Increase your skills. They're easier to get now than then ever.

I may not be able to generate an official government document to cite for you but I know for a fact big boss ain't eating that cost man....just not happening, the fact you think they will is funny.

The price of goods and services (and thus cost of living) is going to go up in CA even more than the loony prices they are already at..and your min wage folks aren't going anywhere, it will be a wash soon enough, and their new min wage wont buy them any more than the old one did.

But whatever...CA is fucked already, they can't tax people out of that place fast enough, TX is loving it.
