O.O One of our hens managed to hide eggs from us long enough to hatch a chick, and somehow it hasn't been slaughtered by the other chickens. We'll see if that lasts. Also three of our other hens aren't showing up to eat so maybe there'll be more of them. But for now it's just one tiny chick amongst a small flock of chickens.

I haven't written (non-work stuff) in so long, I don't even know how to answer that question!

I'm thinking of trying my hand at comics fanfiction. Maybe I can write a few things and get everything flowing the right way again.

Fantasy and smut, usually the two overlap, but not always. Although I haven't yet written any smut that's not fantasy as well... Although, I do have a couple in mind.

My absolute favorite is Loki: Agent of Asgard. (That's what my av is from.) But I have tons from the 2010s that I like. I've been too broke to keep up with comics lately, unfortunately. I like a lot of the mythological-type stuff and mystical stuff, like Thor, Hercules, Lucifer, many of the magical-type people.

Fantasy and smut sounds great. I like a lot of YA fantasy myself. (Yes, I know I'm cringy af, lol.)

Haha, no not cringy. A lot of YA fantasy is only put there because of it's lack of smut. They've got some pretty good stories. My smuttiest fantasy story I'm writing is a polycule story about orcs. And my least smutty one (as in no smut) is about werejaguars.

Yeah it's pretty fun to write, even if it is kinda hard sometimes to wrap my head around the switch's viewpoint.

I totally get that! I have a hard time writing from a more dominant viewpoint myself, even though I technically identify as a switch.

I identify as more of a submissive, and I still find it easier to get into a more dominant person's head when writing.

Sometimes, yes. Sometimes, no.

I realize this is kind of a cop-out answer.

With my former dom, we switched with each other, so, yeah, we needed time between. Usually, if he bottomed for me, once it was over, he'd say something mean to flip the balance of power back to him. I didn't realize for a long time that that was what he was doing, but yeah. (I'm convinced he was also a sociopath, so take this with a grain of salt.)

On the other hand, when I helped him top other people (while remaining submissive to him), that was less difficult. It was like, he's the one calling the shots, and I'm just the second-in-command here.

I have no stories about me and my current Daddy because he's not a switch, and we haven't had any third parties joining our activities so far.

Edited to add: I should've clarified that today is the last day of the pay period. They pull the deposits around 3 am, Central time. So I'm just hoping I can make that $35 in the next 3.5 hours or so.

I didn't work yesterday because I was recovering from Tuesday (and also because I had several other things to do). Gotta go back in this evening, and I really don't want to. I worked about 13 hours Tuesday, minus food and shower breaks.

I was just exhausted yesterday, between working so much the day before and standing in line to deposit money in my account on a hard concrete floor for nearly an hour. I ended up going to bed early, so unfortunately, not a lot of fun occurred.

I had a 9:30 am telehealth therapy appointment this morning, even though I specifically asked for an afternoon one. Anyway, I went right back to bed after it was over.

Now, I'm logged in, waiting for calls. Hopefully, it'll pick up soon.
