Ok, discussing loss, I recently lost a college roommate and some know they circumstances but I won’t divulge in this post. Anyways, having this happen brings out all the introspection and all the good and bad that comes with it. I appreciate those of you who have also shared stories of your loss, it’s the worst.

I’ve had some significant losses in the past couple of years myself, but have been really lucky to have a great support system and things to be very thankful for amid the sad.

I’m confident @Bry1313 would not appreciate you telling me to keep my boobs to myself! Just because you get all weirded out by friend boobs, does not mean other people have a similar anti-boob stance

Losing family members and watching people I care about hurt really sucks, but it’s also strengthened other relationships and reminded me to appreciate what I have as long as I have it. And it’s given me an opportunity to step up in ways I wouldn’t have been able to otherwise. I’m not overly positive or anything, but I’m supremely practical. I focus on what I can control or impact and enjoy the good where I can find it. Or make it.

I’m sleeping on an air mattress for a couple of days. Long story. Apparently it has a leak. I guess in the night it started listing to the starboard side. Man overboard. I hit my hardwood floor like a sack of potatoes. Not a great way to start the day.
