Hello and hugs to all. BrettJ and Ling good to see you guys. Prop, investor and RJ hello to you all as well. Life about the same here. Work. Raising my wee one who at 5' tall isn't so wee any longer. Planning our spring break vacation. I hope everyone is well.

"How I am doing". I have been pondering how - or if - wanted to post this.

Not well.

To make this short, a little over a week ago, I was told my cancer had returned. This time, it is untreatable. Nothing to be done.

So yes, that does mean what you think it means. I am terminal. Just how long I have, how sick I now am, that is uncertain. I was told I have some time, but not a lot. I will endeavor to post more as I know more. But I am wrapping up some of my business as well as that of a friend who just passed and left a HUGE mess for his widow.

Obviously, I am coping. I didn't want to burden my LIT friends with sad news but felt if I just vanished, that'd be awful as well. I will post as much as I am able and hope to return to writing as I am able.

If any old friends want further, more in-depth info, please feel free to PM me. It's been a long time since I've seen a few of you.

Some good news (for a change). I was inspired to write today.

Bad news - not sure how or when I can post it. The library won't allow me to access LIT (some will). I will apprise you all when I figure it out.

I miss NRSE and feel she is gone for good. Hi to TRT it was nice to see you back.

Just ask the library lady to remove the parental filter whilst you are on it.

I am saddened to hear the news, we never met in person, but for the past 13 years we had some friendly banter going on, every now and again, and I consider you more of a friend than some acquaintances I meet nearly every day.

Just make the best of what you have left, a virtual hug buddy.

And until you are still kicking delect us all with more stories.

It isn't a parental filter. The library here doesn't allow access to sites like LIT - period. I will figure something out eventually.

Words aren't sufficient. I'm so sorry for that. You are one of my first Lit friends. Always kind to me. This is about the only thread I actually feel a member of. You have my Lit friendship and all my prayer and good wishes.

I keep in touch with NRSE. I post this with her approval. She has found the love of her life. They seem very happy. He teaches the Bible of some sorts ? I know he is a professor. He doesn't approve of sites such as this so out of love and respect I guess she just doesn't feel she should frequent back. I don't fully know. I do know she loves you all dearly and does miss us in here. BrettJ I wish I could do more. If you need to talk I'm here. Hang in there good buddy.

BrettJ, I second T4T's thoughts . . . she and I logged into this thread as Lit newbies at about the same time . . . and thoroughly enjoyed the followers and repartee that you fostered. Fight this thing as best you can . . . post and write when you can . . . it's your legacy.

Thanks for the update on NRSE. Whilst I am happy for her, I am also of another mind. If he doesn't approve, then he shouldn't be out here - that is his right. But I'd be darned if I'd let anyone dictate to me how I should think, feel or act. I am not religious yet I respect those who are. Why can't we just agree to disagree?

Folks - I have both a laptop and a desktop, thanks. The laptop works and the desktop needs but a minor (likely free but at most $50 repair) so don't worry. It is home INTERNET I am without at present. That will be addressed soon. For now, all I can do is use Public and "Guest" Wi-Fi.

Try pairing the laptop with the mobile phone via bluetooth, then make sure that your phone hotspot is on, you should be able to piggyback the laptop to the cell that way.
