Hello hugs to all. Investor I traveled north on a whim. And Google maps :). I've decided now that I'm a mature gal I can do as I please !
 
Good afternoon everyone. Last day of the extremely unseasonably hot weather. Tomorrow I can make applesauce.

It was 69 today when I went on my walk. I'm 12, okay!

Our temps finally feel like fall. I’m not seeing a lot of fall colors though. The leaves are slower to turn. Work has been a biotch. Partly I guess b cause I’m old”Er”. Planning to go to the beach with friends for thanksgiving. I’ve accomplished over half of my Christmas shopping. And wee one is well. I haven’t really had much interest in dating. Not sure why. Planning my full retirement in about 7 more years. But sheesh that sounds like a long time. How is everyone else doing ?
 
knock, knock . . . anybody here? . . . awfully quiet of late . . . the wine bar has hardly been touched . . . now where did I hide the scotch? . . .

T4T, Ling, hand me that broom and I'll dispatch a few of these cobwebs.

The September & October storms left their mark up here in the hills . . . trees down, roads blocked, power outages, cell phone outages, road wash outs . . . easily have a couple years of firewood to be harvested from downed hardwoods . . . but no damage to the household.

No significant fall color changes yet, but leaves are starting to drop. Temps dropping as well, tho haven't had the first frost.

Not in the holiday mood yet, but won't be too long before preparations needed in anticipation of the annual Thanksgiving invasion. If the outdoor fire pit & patio gets finished in time, will have to have an inaugural hot dog roast and s'mores.

T4T, sounds like the beach trip will be a welcome respite from work . . . and to the remainder of the Bistroites, have a good fall and remember to turn the clocks back on the 5th! :)

Hello all. I will try to keep in touch but we are lagging as I can see. It appears NRSE has departed and I am still far from well. Thanks for keeping things going.
