I'm in that mood today that I'm not seeing wet as a bad thing 💋


Our rain is moving in tomorrow. Along with the wind Matthew has brewing with him. Overcast and cooler today. I've been looking for something to get into 😇
 
I didn't have much of a weekend, sad to say. I spent all of Friday and yesterday and part of today in hospital. NOT a happy camper. I will fill you all in later with details.

Thanks investor. Being in the hospital, it looked like I'd miss the holiday, but I won't - not completely.

A lot of things are going to start happening here very soon, I think. Not all good.

In case anyone wants to know, I had a serious bleeding ulcer. Hope to be on the mend soon, but it may require surgery.

That sounds really awful, sorry to hear that. I hope you get better soon, and that you successfully navigate the good and bad things on your horizon. :)

I don't want surgery, but this just proves more that my aggravations are not imagined. Both my mother and brother met idiot neighbor this past weekend - NOT a pleasant meeting.

Sorry about life in your part of the world as well.

BrettJ a bleeding ulcer is bad news. I'm positive a lot of it brought on by stress. Sending good thoughts and well wishes your way. Are you any closer to getting to move away from that place ? Having dealt with idiot neighbors on only brief intervals I can see how it could cause an ulcer.
 
Hello to NRSE and thanks for the good thoughts. I am 100% sure it's the stress of the situation, although I did have an ulcer a decade or two back. Not this bad, though.

No, much further actually - several snags have been found. I'd say another year, more than likely.

The bleeding has stopped, thanks for asking LING. There is an obvious (but icky) way to tell. As soon as things kick in, I'm off to bed for much-needed long rest.

I miss the days I had exciting and fun posts that I could share with you all. I've not had a date in a long time, my story writing has slowed down (I want to change that soon) and I haven't had a day trip in some time (I want to change that for my birthday next month). I'm going to try and get inspired with some new stuff this next several weeks, if my health doesn't take another hit. No upcoming holidays or special events in the works though.

I do the dreaded colonoscopy liquid diet tomorrow!
I'm HAPPY to find that I can actually have soda up until I take the "stuff that's suppose to taste like lemonade but tastes more like crap."
 
Hello to all.

Apologies for my absence. As you are about to learn, it could not be helped. On Tuesday, I suffered my third heart attack. Serious stuff and there is much more to tell you. I went back to the hospital, where I was admitted - and I am still here.

While waiting for some news Wednesday, the doctor I saw on the previous weekend gave me some life-changing news. If anyone wants full details, PM me - but suffice it to say, I am a very, very ill person. I am in for the fight of a lifetime. I have already had one procedure (another angioplasty but no stent - long story) but I am in for many, many
more.

Not sure when I will be out of here - maybe a few days, maybe a few weeks. I now have my laptop, so I can communicate. I will update as time and health permits. To say I am gravely ill is not an understatement.

I am hoping you all have a good one. Not sure what will happen with me today. I'd love it if they said "home" but am not holding my breath. I know one thing - I want a SHOWER!

If stuck here another day, I hope to write a bit.

One thing likely has been fixed. The other, more serious - we won't know for a while. Thanks for the visit.
