Thank you Investor . A lot of changes in my life. . I'm now separated. It's never a good thing but for the best. I found a place and moved out. Moving has taken forever. Between work. And all the extra curricular stuff with the wee one Ive barely had time to move furniture. I'm not as young as I once was. Im pretty exhausted.

Glad to see a few updates since my earlier posting. Sorry for you T4T but I agree it can be for the best. Sometimes you have to make a negative change to make a positive. That is how I approach my upcoming move.

Idiot has the brains of a 5-year old, this morning was about the 5th time he's rung my doorbell and run away to his hidy-hole. Lord, I can't wait to leave this place. Thanks for all the good words.

Thank you all. Overall I'm feeling positive. My new place isn't small but smaller. Less to keep clean. Less lawn to maintain. And so far it seems a very nice neighborhood. Of course once all is said and done I would like to think about dating again. But part of me feels like maybe that time is over. I don't seem to be like most people. And I'm totally ok with that. I'm still old fashioned. A co worker recently divorced is dating again. She seems happy to the point of being giddy.

This is me. I won't be sleeping together after a couple of dates. I won't do sleepovers due to having a wee one. The guy won't even get to meet wee one until we have dated for about 5 years. LOL. I'm teasing but serious that I won't be misbehaving in his presence. And will be very cautious as to whom we introduce. I feel I have a lot to offer. I guess I just have to search for the man who is old fashioned like me. Or just wants friendship. It's a lot to think about. Thank you all for the support. I really appreciate it.

My son and his new bride spent the weekend. They seemed to enjoy it here. I'm on very civil terms with my soon to be ex. I'm asking nothing of him. I haven't told some of my family. Ah well I will eventually.

Work has been crazy. So many changes related to new insurance and billing. New global computer systems. Ect. I'm TOO old to be stressing all that mess !!

I accomplished NOTHING at work, well nothing that I should have been paid for.

We had a major breakdown out work. A young woman returned to work after a week, her grandparents died within a week of each other. We used my office to basically celebrate their lives. We - myself along with those of us over 40 - had her remember all the good times she had with them, tell us how they embarassed her. We had bagels and donuts delivered and ate and drank all day. None of the supervisors complained - We had enough goodies for them to share in as well LOL

My day was fairly non-descript, but I hope to have some news tomorrow.

Howdy everyone. BrettJ thank you for the support. I really appreciate it. RJ that was a very kind thing to do. I was only close with one set of Grandparents. My moms side. Both wonderful people. My grandad was a big man. Muscular. Nearly 7 feet tall. For real. He was about 6'11". All the males on my moms side are well over 6". My son included who is almost 6'6". Wee ones pediatrician has told us he too will be well over 6'. He is 4th grade and already 5' tall. Just wait until puberty hits. We are in the process of doing his bedroom. He now has his own bath which he thinks is pretty cool. And a larger room. And a playroom. I can close the door and forget about toys and games strewn about.

I'm picking my new dtr in law up after class for dinner. She is a teacher. We really Her so I don't think I will be a terrible mom in law. All I have left to move is my work desk. It's huge and heavy. I need about 2 good looking fellers to help me

T4T, good luck with all your changes. It sounds like you have a plan and have everything going in a positive direction. If you ever need something to do with the wee one, we can always take you two to the zoo.

Our schools are closed for the rest of the week due to the hurricane, our county is an evacuation center.
