The National Border Patrol Council, which represents all 17,000 of the agency’s non-supervisory agents, called for the resignation Monday of Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. for his role in the botched “Fast and Furious” gunrunning operation that resulted in the death of a U.S. Border Patrol agent.

Council President George E. McCubbin III, a 25-year Border Patrol veteran himself, described Mr. Holder’s actions in the case as “a slap in the face to all Border Patrol agents who serve this country,” adding that the attorney general has shown “an utter failure of leadership at the highest levels of government.”

How could it possibly represent ALL 17,000? There wasn't a single one that refused to join? Or is this some kind of mandatory union membership? I'm opposed to unions, so if they want something, I want just the opposite. Communist scum, that's what they are.

Mr. Holder, shut up.

It's the National Border Patrol Council. It isn't something a person can join. Go to their website and look for a membership form.

Funny that RW is so adamant Obama is a criminal. How soon they forget GWB and his merry band of idiot advisors.

Just to be clear, I also called for GWB's impeachment for his failure to enforce our borders... he was no saint, nor much of a conservative

True, GWB was no saint, but a conservative through and through. I have to say though, Coach, wanting to impeach a President for failure to enforce our borders seems silly. Now, if an army crossed our borders and tried to take over that's different. No president is going to resolve our ongoing border problems. Many have tried from both parties. It's one of those issues that isn't easily resolvable.

AG is always a target in election years, Holder was seen as a vulnerable target from the beginning of the O-Ad. Much to say about that part, but it's a different story.

The real question, if anyone wants to take a crack at it, is this: regardless of whether it's a witch-hunt or a valid set of accusations, would Obama gain or lose by replacing him right now?

They aren't conservatives, they are moderate "Rockefeller Republicans," redefined as conservative to get them elected.

Respectfully, that is bs. You can roll your eyes all you want. At least "Rockefeller Republicans" were willing to compromise to get legislation passed. The current crop of Republican legislators are good for promoting hatred of Obama, women, gays, the poor, etc etc under their flimsy platform of family values and Christian moral authority. They are deluded and their lemmings believe they and their leaders are God's chosen.

They killed how many people?

You mean how many of the 1% are responsible for sending the kids of the 99% to war while for the most part kids of 1% could care less about serving their country? Although by the way the 1% talk, you would think they're patriotic as hell, regardless of party.
