Any group trying to effect change needs to garner public support and sympathy for their cause in order to be successful. But this movement has not learned from history. They disrupt people's lives and cost them money. They terrorize shop keepers, stop traffic, cause delays and block emergency vehicles. They also intimidate law enforcement, preventing them from keeping society safe. Some even burn down businesses, some Black owned.
So who do they hurt? Not the CEO's and politicians. They are rich and always will be. It's the everyday workers who depend on extra wages during the holidays. Its the person on the way to a hospital with a heart attack. It's the grandmother looking for a toy for her grandchild. Its the person who becomes unemployed because their place of work was burned down.
So I am certain there is a growing resentment against this group. And you won't hear this in the media, but when people talk among themselves, they see BLM as troublemakers and anarchists.
I don't think that most reasonable people condone police officers using unlawful force against anyone. We don't want suspects gunned down with no provocation. But people are going to quietly move against BLM. They will do this by stepping up support for local law enforcement by giving to the FOP, help families of murdered officers, helping with legal fees of officers wrongly accused, and vote for leaders who stand behind the police force. They will also turn away from media outlets that give them publicity.
Neighborhoods that don't support the police are crime ridden. Black on Black violent crime is running ramped. Its a self induced genocide being largely ignored. So it makes me question the real motive of BLM. They don't seem concerned when Black people kill each other.
