bisexuality and preference

well... i dont really know how to word what i want to know. i'm bi (HUGE surprise to most of you, i know ) and i just wondered if you have phases where you almost exclusively prefer one sex over the other, or if you are equally interested in both sexes most of the time.

For me, I think it depends more on the person. I don't really think I have gone through any phases, except one time when a particular ex-bf and I broke up. It had been a bad relationship, and it really had a negative effect on my view of guys at the time.

I guess it's always been more about who is available at the time, and how attracted to them I was.

I am bisexual, and I am definitely more attracted to men. I always joke around and say that I'm just pickier about women than I am with men, but the truth is that there are just very few women (compared to men) that I am attracted to.

Okie, i'll take a stab at this one.

I'm bi-sexual, and i have to say i do go through phases like your talking about. Sometime woman are far more attractive to me then men, and other times its men i think about.

Heh, lately watching or seeing two men has been my big turn on, so i'm kinda not as turned on by woman right now.

I think its a fantasy thing. I Role Play a whole lot, Shangrila being one of the sexually based games i play, and for the longest time i played woman until a gay friend of mine asked me to make him a Male character. I hadn't done much playing men, but i LOVED playing with this friend of mine, and well, not to mention he's incredibly sexy, heh. So i did it.

I had SO much fun with him, that since then, i havent had any desire to Role Play Woman, or really RP much with woman. So, thats my particular phase. Role play is my fantasy world. :shrugs:

In most cases, its not about the sex, its not about realtionships. If i wasnt married and i was presented with the choice of going for a woman or a man, it'd be all based on who they were, not what sex they were, but in fantasy, I'm all about the bi/gay boys. Heh.

It's varied for me. As a teen and young 20s guy, I was equally attracted to both. Around 25, I was more interested in women. Now, I'm definitely more interested in men. My current personal designation is "gay with a wife". While there are some women that turn me on, they're few and far between. These days, I much prefer men and most nights I sleep with my husband instead of my wife.

Well, i do the phase thing....but normally it's a case of who the person is as opposed to what they have between their legs. Recently (within the past 4 years) i have been way more attracted to women then men. And i have NEVER went through a phase where i wasn't attracted to women. Usually my phases are...Both or women...never, ever had a time when i preferred men.

I just realized that lit has "gay male" and "lesbian" but no story section specifically labled, "bisexual" (I guess that could fall under group or loving wives to some extent) has anyone else noticed this or cared? I discovered that I was bi when I was going out with my current gf (now my fiancee), so I've never really had the problem of meeting someone who didn't match my current bi-cycle. I think I do have somewhat of one, as although my preference leans slightly towards females overall, there are some times when I'm more interested in guys or role-playing a mm scenario with my gf.

I have noticed this, and wished it wasn't so! I have to dig a little in all the categories you mentioned to try to find bi- stories... There's definitely some in there if you look through enough of them, but it'd be great if there was a section devoted solely to them.

I have written only a few stories. Two on strap-on play (posted on Lit) and 1 bi-sexual story (submitted not posted yet). My 2 strap-on stories ended up in different categories (1 anal and 1 BDSM). I thought that I wouldn't have as big of problem finding a category for my newest story, but was very surprised to not find a bi category. I most definitely go through phases as far as preference goes. But more often it comes down to the individual. There are just certain things about certain people that turn me on no matter what phase I happen to be in. Nummy is just nummy, gender has nothing to do with it, as far as I am concerned.
