I've got a friend who is flirty, but very shy sexually. I've been wanting to 'test the waters' with her for quite some time now, with no way to really say it to her without risking making things weird between us.

Have you had any suggestions with making that first move, but in a way so as to not cause major friction if she isn't interested?

I'd be interested to hear similar experiences in this area as well.

I feel like the first part of it is just establishing yourself as bi. If she knows, ask her her opinions of you, questions about what she thinks the lifestyle is like, and hopefully you can gauge her openess. If she seems open you can press the topic playfully. I think it's all about openess you need someone to talk about it with she can ask all the things she's curious about. Hopefully she's curious about you ;)
