I've never been in a hospital myself, so I don't really know what it's like. But, from friends, I hear it can be both good and bad. The necessary procedures that can only happen in such a setting can also allow some infections to thrive, if cleanliness isn't watched. Those little horrors are always waiting.
But, if Bett has that hot nurse at his side, I think everything will turn out just fine. When you don't feel quite up to par, what's better to bring your spirits up than a hot nurse? A little smile here, and maybe a touch there. Oh, did someone mention sponge bath?
My thoughts are with you, Bett...now stop this hospital crap, will you? All the subs are flocking to you and the rest of us Doms are losing out!
But seriously man, you gotta get well, soon. Work with the doctors. Do what they say and get yourself back to health.

Evidently a couple of his faeries figured out where he is, and made pouty faces at the window until he let them in. Then they stole a whole bunch of sugar packets. I asked if he spanked them, and he said that no he told them they were going to have to eat hospital food and now they're hiding from him. LOL

I got another text saying that his blood pressure is low, and that his eye sight is blurry and he's sleepy. I asked him if he'd lost a lot of blood during the surgery, and he said 'a towel full'. Then I asked if he'd be getting a transfusion and he said he didn't know, that he was tired and going to sleep.

It sucked but I made it thru. I did lose some blood thru the opening they made in the cartoid and since my blood platelete... even after getting two units... was only around 35000 the wound wouldn't close. Eventually they put on a pressure dressing. I peeked under it earlier and that is not a happy looking hole in my neck. It's around 6 hours since I came out of recovery and I'm still all tired and mind hazed and loopy.
