ride on a subway.

I never have. I have a list of things I want to do before I die. This is one of the minor things.

I have big things, too. One is seeing Stonehenge.

Do you have things you want to accomplish in your life?

Yes but I think that winning the Heavyweight title of the world is slightly beyond my grasp right now.

I want to visit Venice again. I would like to see Tibet. I want to have children. I would like to have the feeling that the best part of my life is ahead of me and not behind.

Been to Venice, never been to Tibet but I like to go there.
I already have a daughter. She's great.
I' ve had the subway riding thing in several cities all over the world....

I never thought of that Heavyweight Title or Stonehenge,
but seeing the Easter Islands would be great.

Speaking of having children.....

I have 2 and someday I want to be a gramma. (not too soon mind you, I am only 44 ~smile~)

Oh going around the world would be the ultimate in freedom to me. Hope you get to....

And the best part of you live is ahead of you.

I'm with you there, Desert Rose. I think the grandmothers got it made. I've got at least 5 years to go....OMG.....just 5 years.

Hard to imagine.:)

I'd like to hike up a mountain.

I'd like to see the lavender fields in France.

I'd like to see world peace.:rose:

I'd like to see the universe from space. And of course to have sex
in a weight-less environment. That's GOTTA be fun.

But just to see the earth from orbit would put a smile on my face.

I think that is the ulitmate-- the earth from space. Sorry I didn't think of it but glad you did. I am adding it to my list... ~smiling~

Yea Weed, gramma's are cool... LOL I loved mine.

It's my biggest dream!!!!

I'm glad you like it.
I'd kill for a chance to be in orbit if only for a little while. It must
be magical. Besides I've been on a subway and you aren't
missing much :D

I want to see Scotland and Ireland. I want to explore the castles and of course the pubs!

I have ALWAYS wanted to go there.

I want to do two things :

1 : I want to write a book. Even if it never gets published, I know I've got one in me somewhere.

2 : I want to backpack the entire Appalachian Trail.

Ireland's alright, but it's very wet.

I want to take a photo of my fat ankles and post them on a porn board.

Ireland- ME TOO!

I would also like to ride in a hot air balloon.

Maybe we could get a package deal?! I wanna see what those scotsmen wear under their kilts!!

Ireland is my dream. If I dont get there alive, my friends have orders to scatter my ashes there when I'm dead.

I agree, that we all have a book in us. That is a neat aspiration.

Those kilts are appealing to me too.... ~smiling~

Even though you've never been there?

Why the fuck would you want to do that?

As a guess, are you second (or third) generation Irish American by any chance?

I have many things that I want to do and will do before the clock ticks down, assuming nothing untoward happens.

Little things:

1. Write something that is worthy of sharing.

2. I want to go to an island in the ocean. I just think it would be awe inspiring to be surrounded on four sides by endless water.

3. I want to find my first and last love and recognize him when he pops into my life! :D

4. I want to continue doing the things I am doing, being the person I am and making it better and better.

5. In my dreams, I would destroy all the negativity in the universe, but realistically? Well, damn!

6. Raise my children to be sound in their beliefs, proud of who they are and happy. The rest will come in time.

There's a line from the poem "High Flight" that sums it all up for me:

"...And done a hundred things you have not dreamed of..."

If I can say that and truly mean it when I'm 80, then I'll be happy.

Great quote, thank you. ~smiling~

I'm assuming you're speaking to me? If so, why the fuck wouldn't I? If I dont get the chance to go alive, I'd like my final resting place to be somewhere that means something to me - is that wrong?

And I'm not second or third generation anything American - guess again.

run wild thru the wooded hills and mountains in Alaska, unfettered by a faulty heart and sub-standard body. i want to see all the natural wonders out there that few, if any, have seen before. i want to roam endlessly with naught for companions but my sword and nature itself. i want to hunger for nothing but peace, freedom, and the wilderness in all its splendor. the hills, the mountains, the forrests, they all call to me and i curse and curse and hate myself for not being able to answer that call because of physical failings which cannot currently be fully corrected.
