I go into probably 50 houses a week. Most people are nice to me up until it's time for the bill then they try and weasel their way out of paying. That's when they turn on me and try to use my own words against me. I used to have compassion for people when I would tell them the cost of repairs, now I don't give a shit about them. Now I get a kick out of people yelling and crying about how they can't afford to repair their equipment.

Things I have noticed about people of different ethnicities (sp?) is that white people usually have the dirtiest, unkept houses. Black people usually are the friendliest and have the cleanest homes. Indians are the cheapest people., same with Pakistanis. Europeans like Czecks and polish people are rude and expect the world for next to nothing. People from the UK always want to feed me when I go into their homes and the are usually really old.

None of the people above have ever offered to blow me in exchange for cheaper repairs.

As for my final thought on the subject, I would have to say fuck all y'all!

If your water isn't too hard the tankless heaters can be great. If it is hard then they usually have problems with the flow sensor getting stuck. If you get one make sure you get at least 5yr free service/ maintenance included in the deal. by the end of that time they will have worked out all the bugs, if there were any.

Depends on what category of furnace you have.

I bought a hybrid water heater. It dropped the electric bill by about $50/month, which means it will pay for itself in only 3 years.

I had looked into those for the Savage Manse because it seems intuitive that it would be cheaper to only heat the water as you need it. BUT, looking at the cost of replacement vs. monthly savings on the gas bill; it would have taken about 30 years for the on-demand heater to pay for itself.

The economics may be different depending on your home energy source.
