"Armeggadon " sex?

damn - while I wrote a big reply, my computer just locked up ... so for the 2nd time ....
I gotta say, I love the idea.
Maybe this story could be placed near the end of the 2nd World War, in a town in Germany.
There is an air raid warning. Everyone runs into a bomb shelter, before the american (and english, too) planes drop their bombs over the town.
So, everyone is sitting in the bomb shelter, while the planes drop the bombs. Some of the bombs are very close to the bomb shelter - some of them are so close that the ground is shaking ...
Usually, this bombing takes like 1-2 hours. But not this time. The allied forces really wants to weak the enemy. So they drop bomb after bomb after bomb. More then 5 hours have passed, but still, you can hear and feel the exploding bombs.
If one of the bigger bombs hit the shelter, it could colapse, and so everyone could die tonight.
Inside this bomb shelter, there is this one girl/woman. Maybe she is a virgin - but she doesn't want to die as a virgin. She looks around in the shelter ... all men between 16 to 50 have to fight at the frontline, there are only a few old guys, all about 60 years or older. One of this guys is her own grandfather ... so, either she dies as a virgin (because, after 5 hours of constant bombing, she is sure that she will die very soon)
Or maybe, she always wanted to try lesbian sex ...
Or, there is this young guy. He fought at the frontline, and now, he has on vacation for 3 days. She always had a crush on him. Tomorrow, he will go back to the frontline (and he could die there). So she wants to do him a favour ...

I don't understand why no one else responds.
I think the idea is great. And I had an idea for another scenario: It could be placed on a big ship (Titanic ?). They could run into a life threatening problem (like crashing into an iceberg) and slowly sink.
There could be this couple: They wanted to get married on sea by the captain. They are religious, so they never had sex before marriage.
And now, the ship is sinking, everyone is supposed to go into the life boat. But when it comes to this small life boats, the rule is clear: Woman and Kids first. So the man has to stay on the ship - maybe he will be saved later - or maybe he will die.
So, the woman at least wants to have his baby - no matter if she is married or not. So they have sex - one time only ...
And maybe ... I don't know if you could call this romantic, but imagine, if they die will they have sex - united forever ... (or maybe they survivie and continue their relationship)
But there are many scenarios where you face certain death.
Don't get mad at me, but just think on 9/11.
The people in the plane over Pennsylvania knew that they had no chance to survive, so they attacked the terrorists (Let's roll !).
And the people in the WTC ...
I don't say that they had sex (and I think an erotic story placed inside the WTC wouldn't be good), but there could be a similar situation ...

They decide to walk to the next town, but after some time all their water bottles are empty, and they begin to starve. If they are not found very soon, they will die - so they decide they want to have sex, before they die ...

Some scenarios are good, but is it realistic in the face of death to want to have sex?
Perhaps, if it is someone who has not parents or children who need to hear their voice, no attachments but to their SO who is with them, it would seem more realistic.
I don't know.
Just tossing it around in my mind.
I can think of many scenarios, probably done, where in a man is off to war and certain death, and needs that one last intimate adventure.
Or any other number of high risk activities.
Evel Knievel type stunt driving. One time, one mistake and kapooey?
Perhaps, if it is someone who has not parents or children who need to hear their voice, no attachments but to their SO who is with them, it would seem more realistic.

I once saw a true (?) story from a more or less well known german jewish author.
This guy said, he and his sister where hiding from the Nazis during the 2nd World War.
The Nazis searched for jews, so this guy and his sister hid for a few days on an attic. At one time, they hold each other, just to calm each other down and then "his dick got hard and slipped into the pussy of his sister" ....
I am not sure if this is true, or if it is a fiction of this author, but according to him, it was really "an accident" ...
