40 years is traditional and I think that we should stick with tradition

Let me see . . . the Dems had all of FDR and Truman, that's 20. The GOP had Eisenhower for 8. Then it was Kennedy and LBJ for the next 8. Then Nixon/Ford for 8, Carter for 4, Reagan/Bush for 12, Clinton for 8 and Bush for 8. Sorry 3 but 40 is 'way to optimistic. I'll bet they're back in 12 at the outside.
