I like to know if it is a fact that 99% of all woman are potencial whores if the stake is high.
E.g. would most single girls or married woman
accept the offer of an stranger for sex if the reward is substancial either in Dollars
or other goals. I heard a story of an "Indian Girl" who only ever had sex with her husband
,working at a bank in India, meeting an American Guy there and finaly accepted $ 1000.-(about 1 year salary) for daytime sex so she could be home in time and just skipped one day work. In other places the price may be much higher but would it work.

I hardly ever start a thread but it annoys me that even on an erotica site it is the sexual behaviour or misbehaviour of women that seems to draw the fire.

So here's the questions. How many men would accept money to have sex with a woman? Judging by the stampede to shore when my ship moored in Italy I'd say that men are more likely to take money for sex--seeing as how they are more willing to pay for it.

Think about this a minute. It's women who are villianized for prostitution--arrested--harrassed--intimidated--even though it's the men who have to make up stories, sneak away from their families, and generally jump through hoops to commit the act. It's frequently women who get blamed for the sexual antics of men whether it is prostitution or rape (she was asking for it).

How two-faced can it get?

As someone whos been to Amsterdam and seen the red light area at "work" I can say that legalising prostitution would be the best thing we could do, not only does it offer the working women and men a safer place to ply their trade it also helps with health issuse's and add's to the economy in the way of tax's.


There's nothing wrong with a working girl as long as it's not to feed a habit and shes not being forced into it.

Because some women - like some men - have nothing else to use to trade for money in order to buy food, clothing, and shelter. You already know that. I'm assuming your answer was flippantly tongue-in-cheek.

I say: legalize prostitution.
Give legal prostitutes the health insurance that would protect them and their customers.
Insure a fair wage for services rendered.
Insure a safe and clean working environment.

It works in Nevada and has worked in the Netherlands for a very long time.

The hypocrisy of prostitution never fails to make me fear for our humanity. I know we've been two-faced about it for a very long time, it's the oldest profession (for women) after all, but we've come so far in so many other areas - why not in terms of human rights here, in adamantly moral western civilization?

Does morality and "doing the right thing" preclude caring for the most fragile workers, in terms of them facing danger and illness, in our society?

Apparently so.
Like other edge-workers (low paid, low skills, easily replaceable), prostitutes are simply left to be winnowed in a Darwinian fashion. Those who can't walk the walk are eased out onto the ice floe, so to speak. Reminds me of the part of "Blow" where Michael Douglas is down in Mexico City talking to the Mexican Drug Head Honcho who answers the question about what Mexico's policy is regarding treatment for addicts with an uncaring statment about how they let them die - self-treatment.

Anyway, the whole controversy about prostitution makes me sad for our entire society. We can't really call ourselves civilized if we don't care for all our people, the good and the bad and the ugly.
