Okay. This might have been when I personally slid back. I was doing a lot better about accepting my flaws until those types of APPs let me hide again.

I think some of it is that we dont see many real naked bodies. Like i havent seen any women in real life naked since i stopped going to a commercial gym years ago. Men also. Its too easy to look at a pretty picture and assume you should also look like that when theres no reference point in reality.

And i can understand preferences. We all have things we like to see and maybe what initially attracts us to someone. But at the end of the day ive never met someone that i didnt find attractive once i knew them and liked their personality.

This is the same for me. But thanks to Lit. I see lots of naked bodies Granted. They are the naked bodies that someone is willing to show. Just as I know my best angles and lighting and any fucking thing that helps. I know everyone else is just as aware of their own. So. We see what one wants us to see.

Yea i like the undressed thread for this reason cause people look beautiful but not perfect in a magazine way for the most part. But their pictures, like yours, become especially gorgeous once ive seen a part of who they are through posts.

But yes, its still not as good as real life. I wonder if people do better with body image in countries where nudity is more accepted. I remember going to communal showers as a kid. They probably dont even exist anymore but thats the kind of thing that makes you realize what real people actually look like...

Only time I had to deal with the communal showers was in boot camp. That was loooong time ago. Think it was like 6 showers on 2 walls. No doors on the toilet stalls.

It’s so true … I look back on my 20s body and think… wow, I looked amazing. 20 years from now I’m sure I’ll look at my current body and feel the same way.
