Archived Notification Feed

I just checked, it’s because I don’t have a bunch of followers or recent story activity, but I have nothing new for activity.

Just a newly submitted, as of yesterday, story Pending … again.

I have the concluding five chapters in Drafts. I am afraid of doing anything at this point.

Even notifications from this morning are showing up in the archived side of things for me, so it's not like they drew a line at sometime yesterday and everything older than that is archived. And it is reporting a new story as getting an Editor's choice, which I do not think is true. I see no indication of it on the story or the listing of the story on the author;s page.
I've also received a phantom editor's choice! How delightful. I took a screenshot for posterity. The story hasn't yet appeared on my works list, though it does seem to be on the category hub at least.

Congratulations! and yes, now I'm also afraid that the one that I got was bogus as well. Fingers crossed that Literotica really does like our stories :)

I have JUST started getting new activity on my stories show up in my Latest Activity thread (though apparently two people favorited my latest story who are not listed on the thread). Also, I've updated my profile to lead off with the following statement, which I thought felt appropriate lately: "friends, your Notification List might up and walk out on you, but I will never leave you."

I want a refund on my subscription.

oh, wait...
I totally get where you're coming from, and yes - it's a free site.

But, ultimately, this site lives and dies by traffic, and traffic lives and dies by engagement, and engagement is driven by authors posting content. Without the stories, Literotica becomes just another landing site peppered with ads. It's the stories that are this site's USP and anchor tenant.

It seems unwise to make such far-reaching changes on, effectively, a whim. It's day two and we've already seen five hour delays on publishing which are almost certainly tied to whatever "updates" were done in the backend.

100% agree

Authors here are what drive the traffic to Literotica and with issues like the ones with AI Rejections, Oending stories delays or just going into a black hole, and now posting delays and the changes to the Activities feed, we need a lot more than either nothing, or a cursory note on the Tech forum that conveys insufficient information.

I don't want to know the intricacies of how the site works, but I'd have a whole lot more confidence that things were just at the normal levels of fucked if we had a status page or something that we could verify changed. Right now it's voodoo and 5ccs of mouse blood, and I can't be having with that.

I spoke too soon. The postings that I saw in my Latest Activity thread that I saw 30 minutes ago have disappeared :(

I wonder if they get cleared after being "viewed" ?

That's a bit shit.
My one unarchived activity alert has remained visible, at least whenever my control panel is able to communicate with the database. It reminds me of the classic Star Trek episode where Captain Kirk was trapped in 'interspace', so I'm assuming Literotica is under attack by the Tholian (WorldWide) Web.
