Bonterra's cabernet sauvignon did a pretty good job of the same thing.

Commuting is for the birds. I have worked from home for about 6 years now and it has been heavenly - especially every day that it snows.

Drinking was in order tonight - a loved one has a serious health issue and sometimes it's the only response appropriate. I used up my "not flaring"points and so be it.

Sadly, my job doesn't really lend itself to workng from home. On the other hand, my commute is usually about 15 minutes. Usually!

I went to bed early last night, and was so ready for my 6 am wakeup call from kidlet. Ahhh. I'm totally ready for a bit of playtime before work.

I had a dream last night.

I was getting married to Mister Man. I was in the dress and about to walk down the aisle. I am assuming I was in a synagogue, although it looked very church-like with the long rows. We were talking to people, but not yet walking down the aisle. My cell phone rang, and I answered it and went into a small room and closed the door.

It was my ex. He said, "I <jumble jumble> -ong."

Me: You're strong? Good for you.

Him: No. I was wrong.

And then I flopped down in my dress and cried and cried. I think I hung up.

Mister Man came into the room and took my face into his hand and kissed my eyes. Only at that point it wasn't Mister Man. Well, it was, but his face was Dr. B, this submissive dude in my local group who is quite nice. No idea on that one. Anyway, Mister Man/Dr. B says, are you ready? And then he smiles and is so happy. And I flop back down on the ground and cry some more.

And then I woke up.

The question is this. Should I repeat this dream to my shrink tomorrow?

So I told my therapist the dream. We talked about my unresolved emotions about my ex. It was really freeing, actually - and it's not about wanting him or not. It's about healing and wanting forgiveness. But I very well may never get it from him, and I have to let go anyway. Tough stuff, but understanding is very empowering.

Yes, in SoCal we have Liquorama, Liquor Barn, Liquor Loft, well, you get the picture.

Liquorama did not carry the Bonterra!

So, i stopped at Trader Joes. Nothin'. Nada.

i got a Mountain River Pinotage/Shiraz mix, instead. I decanted it about 10 minutes ago, 'cause i'm all sophistimicated.

i've never had a migraine but my baby sis gets them. it hurts my heart to see her suffer.

Here's hoping your suffering ends soon. Please list any remedies you know that help (when you can). Daddy gets migraines, too.

As for the beverages this evening, I think I'm making myself a girly cosmo. We have vodka, cranberry juice and limes - fresh lime juice makes the diff...

What a day today. Errands all day long. Mister Man and I talked about real estate and where we might live and babies. It always comes back to babies. It's such a nice fantasy to let myself sink into - family. We stopped by a new kid's store that opened in the area, and I found the most perfect upholstered rocker with a matching ottomon. They do custom fabric. Sigh.

Gawd, last year at this time I was having crazy sex fantasies. Now I fantasize about nurseries and having a baby. That doesn't sound so good, although these days, at least, fantasy is something I only occasionally slip into. I just can't believe I found someone who can be a Dom, partner, lover, stepdad and dad. Kind of crazy!
