My wife has very exaggerated proportions. She has to buy pants multiple sizes bigger so her ass and hips fit. Then it’s all opened around the waste so she would have to cut and sew the waist to fit. Wife is/was the same way…buy two or three sizes up to fit her ass in, then take it to get altered and have the darts put in so it fit her waist. A pair of slacks ended up costing twice the amount she paid!

My wife’s hips just got wider after kids. Having clothes altered can get expensive. My wife has tried to do it herself but it’s never quite right. Cloths styles have changed of late and with the popularity of some celebrities with exaggerated proportions it is easier for her to find cloths.

You’d think with our celebrities being more curvy now (and the overall bad diets of most Americans) the fashion industry would follow suit. The online retailers she uses have helped but the junk mail they send us still use stick figure models and sometimes the dress on her curves doesn’t quite match the model in her head!

This thread hit upon a very important point. For me, it's not so much the size of a woman, but the shape of a woman that makes her body sexy. As I have gotten older, I see more sexiness in women who have some extra weight.

My partner of nearly eight years has a tiny waist, and a correspondingly small ribcage, but sports a beautiful mouth-watering pair of DD's.
