Another plane crashed into a building in Tampa

Hmmm.

Well, it looks like maybe only the pilot was hurt.

so far.

I think I will walk to Phoenix....

sigh

Get Tampa channels on our cable. Local news reporter was just told by Sheriff's department that the plane was a student trainer, but that it was actually stolen by as yet unknown parties. Actually that was about an hour ago. Family comandeered TV to watch sitcom re-runs so not up to the minute on this. Sounds pretty suspicious anyway. They also mentioned something similar at about the same time in Denver. Anyone hear anything about that or is that just the rumor mill?

Not a rumor apparently. Just read the CNN latest article and it mentions briefly Colorado AND California though it's not in any way connected...

Paragraph 2 and 3:

A 14-year-old boy became the conflict's latest fugitive, slipping out of the grip of Afghan elders who were to decide whether to hand him over to the Americans for allegedly killing a U.S. soldier in an ambush.

Half a world away in Florida, an American just one year his elder, who rammed his light plane into an office block on Saturday, left a suicide note sympathizing with bin Laden who is wanted for the Sept. 11 attacks in the United States
