But seriously folks, RL does have a way of cutting into writing time. The two grandkids (14 & 8) left today after a two week visit. I should be writing and doing crits, but it looks like I'll need the rest of the weekend to recuperate.

Thanks Bri. I forgot how the denizens from hell come out though when a story is in a contest and they bomb the poor thing back to the shade of my imagination. It's finally back up above a 4.5 but I watched it yesterday and it just shrunk and shrunk.

Even my editor hated it. But then again, that's what I get for submitting it without sending it to him first.

I was going to enter Hero's Reward in the Valentine's Day contest if I finished it (which I didn't), but now I'm glad I waited. Maybe when I'm a little older (in writer years). really really missed it!

I just submitted my entry... awaiting approval. I'm prepared in advance for this one not to go over well (it's self-serving, tres sappy, and dripping with poetic drivel... not to mention, WAY SOFT on the smut end), but I just hates missin' a contest!

Sounds like a strong contender to me, Muse. I had a story finish second in the last Halloween contest that had no sex and no horror. Go figure.

I just hope that mine makes it in time to have a realistic chance. I am calling it "Connie Nielsen's Nude Affair". Yes, it's also a Celeb tale (my first real Celeb story). No orgies (not that I have a problem with orgies). No gang-bangs (no problem with that either). No incest. No BDSM (another fave of mine). Just 2 actresses naked in a house for the weekend, feasting on each other. A naked Celeb Sapphic tryst. Just thought I would plug it shamelessly ahead of time, to give it a fighting chance in the contest. I am up against tough competition, such as RedHairedandFriendly.

I am trying to write one of my 15 x fifty-word pieces for this contest.

I know that I'm not eligible this time.

Finding 15 subjects is proving difficult. There are only so many ways that nudity can be valid and I'm not finding enough of them.

Where are The Muses when you need them? Probably frolicking in the nude on top of Mount Olympus.

I have completed and rough-polished 9 of the 15 fifty-word pieces necessary to reach Lit's 750 word minimum.

I could cheat and write only 14 because my copyright and disclaimers are longer than 50 words, and the 15 titles add a few more, but 15 x 50 = 750 is the round number I'm aiming for.

Six ideas yet to find, and six pieces to write.

Isn't 666 the sign of the beast?

Og off to bed now that it is after midnight BST.
