Please excuse the following substandard rhyme of a slightly-wasted guy (also, remember, never appologize for your writing
(also, don't ramble).

Cabaret - that's poem's not corny at all,
it might be true love, find out, have a ball.

Mysticcal - with an extra 'c'?
And thou protests, but what do I see?
You rhyme with the best
like you're no newbie at all
putting us to the test
trying to make me fell small?
You don't fool me a second
acting manic and such
I do that every weekend
by and by with no crutch
But that doesn't explain
why you rhyme like you do
oh, you can maintain
it was a fluke debut
of some wonderful talent,
that escaped just this once
making you look all gallant
by some heavenly chance.
Now I'll wager, instead
that the party we throw
has put you ahead
when you uttered "hello"
at that moment, just when
you were caught in our spell
you began to rhyme then
and the party went swell.

*cheese* *mousie* *phatcat* *eeek*
so corny, my mouth's tongue cat got on a streak.

kikmosa, are you still sad and gloomy?
what you need is a happy gal as a roomy
who will cheer you up with a silly grin
any time of day, wherever you've been.
Just in case, if there are no volunteers
put a mirror in your purse, release all your fears
and throughout the day, whenever you please
smile at the mirror, make it light, and say "cheese." =)
If life is a lemon, and you got it for free,
there's not much to get, I think you'll agree
if you ask for your money back, all you get is debris
why not use it a little, have fun, let yourself be.

(...and the chorus comes in), what I find that helps me
is to do on a dare what I otherwise guarantee
I'd never get the "brass" to pull off in public
such as posting my writing, (my realpolitik)
or come up to a girl in a real crowded bar
who is chatting with friends a little too far
for me to walk over without being noticed
and ask for her number without being dismissed
by a piteous smile, high pitched laugh from her friends
or a wave of the hand with which she intends
to drive me away, an annoying gnat
spoiling her repose, acting a brat
by presuming to think that I had a slight chance
to take her away with me, start a romance.


[here's an interesting internal struggle: do I delete that horrible piece of filth above, or do I hit 'Submit'? ... guess you'll find out]

Forum tips reposted

one post earlier this week, for example, wasn't in rhyme, in reply to another person with newbie confusions, I advised:

bumbling around may be the best way to find your niche.

a few tips:

" view new posts" on the main page is a good place to find active threads.

if you meet people you like, view their profiles- you will see where they last posted- peek in there. At the top of the profile is a tab to view the posting history of preople- once again, if you find someone you have things in common with, this is not just voyeurism, its a way to learn about other threads.

what attracted you to Lit? If its stories, the " Story Ideas" thread is active. BDSM talk speaks for itself. The roleplay threads really seem confusing, so a friendly guide migfht help. Personals is to meet and greet. Both the General Board and the Playground section of Personals are general interest- both sex and none sex oriented threads- many of the titles are clear, a few enigmatic. There seems to be different communities on each, and some degree of rivalry . See where you have fun. How To varies in activity, but has some quirky conversations. Other sections are self-explanatory, and match their titles, although the Amatuer Pic Forum is active, fun and not just pics.

About Me

Thank you for the information. I'll give it a try. And I still think that I'm better at free flow writing. That's where my passion lies. I have kept a diary for years, though up until August it was kind of boring. Lots of soul searching, heavy stuff.

It wasn't until August that I was introduced to a swing club here in the Brew City, and to my soulmate, Kid. We fit together perfectly in every aspect, from his acting to our sex drive. We think alike, we are both kinky as hell.
