I can see no audio poem in your member page....

That's because I've been trying for submit it for weeks now with no success. I looked at the FAQ and sent the audio file to audio@literotica and never received a confirmation message. I PMed Laurel. No reply. Then I tried sending it to submit@literotica and I immediately got an error message that said that the e-mail could not be delivered. I wondered if the site had a problem with Gmail, so I sent the file again (to both addresses) with Hotmail and then I waited. I'm still waiting. :(

Use the file upload, Aurora. That's how I submit all of my audio. Works like a charm. PM me if you need more details.

I'm trying it now. I feel so stupid.

I don't know if it worked or not. First, I put EDIT in the title and said "Re-submission of audio poem with attached sound file" in the Editor's field so there would be no misunderstanding. Then I pasted the poem where it was supposed to be before uploading the MP3 and then I went to Preview.

In Preview, the poem was like this: %&)@*$&#&(@*#(* Complete gibberish. I tried it again, same thing. Frustrated, I went through with the submission anyway, hoping that the editors will combine the two submissions and make it work. Now it's time to wait. Again. :p

By uploading the file.... you don't mean by hitting the browse button, do you? That's not the upload I meant (actually forgot all about that one.) The one I meant you can find here. The link to the actual upload page is in the third bullet down. Then you go to your author's page and submit the text of the poem as usual and put in the notes box that you uploaded the audio file xx.mp3 to the server.

Sorry *hugs*

I should have been clearer in my first post, but like I said... I forgot all about the file upload on the submission page (which can only be used for word documents, plain text, and rtfs... not for audio).

I'm starting to wonder if this is worth all the trouble.

Voices to swap?

Hi, I'm new to this site. Audio novels are going to be huge, particularly when you consider we can experience fantasy and physical pleasure at the same time (I'll leave it at that). I write stories that I would prefer to be read by a genetic girl - the subject matter lends itself to soft/sensual audio. Has anyone considered recording other peoples stories for them. That is, the author send a story and a second party read/record for them and returning. Love to hear some ideas on this. love, Bel

Welcome, Bel. I don't know what to say regarding your question, but hopefully someone else can help.

My poem is finally up, guys. God help me. ;)
