This song may be a bit of a stretch, because it was sung in a cutesy manner by two couples, but the words could be a trigger.

For me, I suppose it's because a lot of cheatin' goes on in the afternoon while the hubby is working, so the cheaters have to make the best use of any available time.

Thinkin' of you's workin' up my appetite
Lookin' forward to a little afternoon delight
Rubbin' sticks and stones together make the sparks ignite
And the thought of lovin' you is gettin' so excitin'

And this stanza sticks out to me as well.

Started out this mornin' feelin' so polite
I always thought a fish could not be caught who didn't bite

Like nibblin' a little afternoon delight

Great choice! There's a doco about it here - it's a bit of a sad story as the two couples eventually divorced and they got screwed by the record company over royalties. But Bill and Taffy co-wrote 'Take Me Home, Country Roads' with John Denver, so they've got the royalties from that.
