The audio questions thread is one of my favorites, not just for the questions asked, but the intonation of the the responses. Some questions are deeply personal, some are deeply silly. The Wild Wednesday questions make people blush or cringe, or both.

I thought I would begin a thread with reading parts of books. I've been doing this with someone and enjoy it more than I probably should!

Whatever you are reading, or have read and want to share, or something you've written. Smutty, newsworthy, whatever. Poems welcome.

Want to hear someone read something out loud? A German read "The Reader", for example? Request it.

If you are reading the words of others, please attribute original content.
Enjoy some quality aural time.

Kicking it off with a repeat from the thread mentioned above, a poem....

Somethings my Different

I’ve not spoken this poem in Spanish in a long time. Forgive my mistakes, but this poem by Pablo Neruda has significance for me. Like him, my poetry was born in travail, almost as a record of existence. It has morphed since then, but always has its roots in pain, and the mire of man’s limitations. Enjoy!
