Advice anyone?

Hello everyone,

Just looking for a little advice on how to take things to the next step. I know I could search the site, but there are too many things to read...lol

Here is my story, I recently went back to school at age 31, and am having a great time, but as always there is a girl. We have a great time together, and often joke about sneaking off for a quickie between class, but it always stays as a joke. So, how do I get her to stop joking and actually sneak off with me?

Tell her you want to actually sneak off instead of joking about it next time? :S

Ask her out. If you don't know her status, you might ask if she's seeing anyone, then if she says she's not, ask her if she'd like to go out for dinner or whatever ____ night.

I'm confused. Is this someone that you don't know well outside of class or someone that you have already a relationship with?

I cannot confirm this. For starters it would mean that I was really comfortable with that person (man) and thought we were on the same level. I can be flirty and I can talk (about) sex with someone without actually wanting to have sex with that person.

Or rather (maybe).... if I would be interested (but was not sure the man was) I would probably be more shy and feel less comfortable because something was at stake there...

But that's how it works for me... can't speak (of course) for all women...
