i know of people who snort ritalin. they call it poor mans coke. it speeds them up when snorted.

strange how many years ago kids did not have access to all the sugar and tv, etc.,etc. like they do now. they actually went outside, ate a bit healthier, got a lot of excercize, had chores to do and were expected to do them. no add/adhd

My children spent most of their time outside till they were made to come inside.

When my youngest son was six he started getting extremely tired and frequently sick. Dr kept prescribing him with antibiotics despite my protests. He became more and more run down and was so tired with shiners under his eyes.

The Dr made a referral to a specialist who said my son had ODD. Oppositional Defiant Disorder.

I told her she was wrong and got a private referral to a paediatrician who after some tests discovered he had allergies and a low immune system.

He's completely healthy now and all grown up.

I do think there are children who do have ADD or ADHD and need some sort of help. Sometimes diet, exercise and routine can help but other times I think that medication may be necessary.

So for me it's not always cut and dried.

Something I slept on ...I also put it in my Health and Long Life Resource pgs that people with food allergies have a low probiotic status,as well as asthmatics,gluten intolerance,schizophrenics,lactose intolerance...even autism,so it could be withh ADD as a relationship was drawn with food allergies,and said maybe they should be tested for it.

If ya give em L -acidophilus,within 1/2 hr of meals,it usually overrides most allergies.I put swansonvitamins.com in my resources,they have a bottle of 250 ct,1 billion units/organisms at time of mfg,in ea,apx$ 5.50 per bottle.Most like to sell you something only a 1/4 as strong,for more.

This big onslaught of autism could be caused by some of the lack of this digestive probiotic in the gut,failure to digest the food properly,where you don t benefit from the vitamins therein.They need to add it to the baby formula,then we d see a reduction in autism,instead of the epidemic now going on...

GM corn starlight brand I believe it was,genetically took out some of the digestive enzymes so the bugs couldn t eat it.If the bugs can t eat it,people probably have digestive problems with it too.Now,they re genetically putting pesticides in it.I advise staying off the corn and they should go to non GMO corn.The wheat was genetically modified in 1981 ,to contain 30% more starch.No wonder people are gettin fat and diabetic,?

Adderall (Mustang) is an amphetamine (Ford).

Ritalin (Corvette) is not.
